New songs, old songs – December 15th

November 16, 2012 § Leave a comment

One more alternative gig for 2012 – and it’s going to be a special one. As well as music from Ashes I’ll be playing songs from upcoming album Aether for the first time – oh, and giving out a very stupid Christmas present on the same day. All that and the usual conviviality born of sharing your rawest emotions in a dimly-lit room full of strangers – won’t it be fun? Yes, yes it will, actually.

Saturday, December 15th, 7pm onwards

The Harrison, London, WC1H 8JF

£5 on the door

Another reason why it’ll be so special? I’m being joined by fantastically talented singer-songwriter Miri – go, go check her music out right now.

Miri is a London based singer/songwriter currently performing around the UK with her band and regularly does stripped down acoustic slots with just herself and a guitarist.

Her voice has been described as “organic honey for the ears” and her musical style “soulful edgy pop”.

Miri has performed at many high profile events including Natty Presents Vibes & Pressure@Passing Clouds, The 100 Club for The Official Bob Marley Birthday Celebration and The Guiness Jazz Festival in Ireland.

With an album and follow up EP out on itunes and a buzz in the air; 2013 looks set to be a great year for this up and coming artist.”

You don’t want to miss this.
